The agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission and sets the minimum pay for the staff it covers. BAE Systems Maritime Australia Osborne site (South Australia). Covers production employees engaged in manufacture, fabrication, assembly, refit and repair of surface seagoing vessels including the Hunter Class Frigate Program. Two classification streams: Operator (L1-L6, Leading Hand) and Engineering Tradesperson (ET L1-L2, ETSC1-3, AET L1-L2) plus Engineering Technician and Production Team Leader. Apprentices (Junior and Adult) covered separately. 38-hr week, Mon-Fri day work pattern. Overtime: 1.5x first 3 hrs, 2.0x thereafter.

Full-time pay runs from $689.26 per week ($18.14 per hour) at the entry level up to $2,288.40 per week at the top, across 22 classifications. A few examples:
