Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $774.82 per week ($20.39 per hour) at the entry level up to $1,235.00 per week at the top, across 8 classifications. A few examples:

What else it sets

  • Penalty rates for weekends, public holidays and overtime.
  • 2 allowances (for example 24.2.1 An employee, qualified to St. John's Ambulance standard or / 24.2.1 An employee, qualified to St. John's Ambulance standard or equivalent, if requested to act as the First Aid Attendant shall be paid an allowance of $13.80 per week., 24.1 Meal allowance / An employee required to work overtime for any period of two (2) hours or more without being notified on the previous day or earlier that they will be required to work, will be paid).
