Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $1,152.16 per week ($30.32 per hour) at the entry level up to $2,798.70 per week at the top, across 192 classifications. A few examples:

What else it sets

  • Penalty rates for weekends, public holidays and overtime.
  • 6 allowances (for example ble protective clothing consisting of gloves, overalls, boots and protective head covering where necessary they will be paid an allowance of (PDF 87, provision 5), April 30 inclusive for the purposes of watering only, such greenkeeper, groundsperson or nurseryperson will be paid a seasonal allowance of (PDF 87, provision 3), nt shall be in accordance with the method used in Council’s vehicle policy for private and commuter/tool of trade use, to a minimum value of (PDF 17, provision 8)).
