Downer Utilities Australia Pty Ltd (Gas) gas-distribution agreement covering all employees Australia-wide (except WA) performing utilities services work - mains and services construction, transmission pipeline operations, leakage surveying, metering and system operations. 38hr/wk averaged over 4-week cycle of 19 days (7.6hr/day) with 1 RDO per cycle, ordinary spread 6am-6pm M-F (extendable to 5am-8pm by individual agreement). Shift work +30% loading. 9-level classification structure including 4-year apprenticeship pathway.

Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $1,004.72 per week ($26.44 per hour) at the entry level up to $2,100.64 per week at the top, across 9 classifications. A few examples:
