Who this agreement covers

Enaex Australia Queensland Coal EA 2023 covers all Employees engaged in classifications at Clause 3.1 at coal mining operations in Queensland who are directly involved in the supply of explosives and/or blasting services (cl 1.3.1). Enaex Australia Pty Ltd (Chilean-owned, ABN 97 009 687 487, Brisbane HQ) is a contract blasting services provider to Bowen Basin and other QLD coal mines. Workforce is shotfirer-licenced blast crews, MMU/MPU operators, and Leading Hand supervisors.

Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $1,085.00 per week ($31.00 per hour) at the entry level up to $1,557.15 per week at the top, across 10 classifications. A few examples:
