Who this agreement covers

Goodstart Early Learning is the largest ECEC employer in Australia (~14,000 staff). Covers Children's Services Employees, Early Childhood Teachers, Centre Directors, and Administrative Employees nationally. RATES: from clause 24.10

  • (national CSE), 24.11
  • (ECT), and 24.12 (Admin), Column 3 'New minimum hourly rate 2 Dec 2024' - the current working rate INCLUDING the ECEC Worker Retention Payment supplement under clause 24.13. The Retention Payment is a Commonwealth grant-funded supplement (2 Dec 2024 to 30 Nov 2026); rates will need refresh after the 1 Jul 2025 AWR, the 1 Dec 2025 +5% step-up, and the 1 Jul 2026 AWR

Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $1,046.52 per week ($27.54 per hour) at the entry level up to $2,426.68 per week at the top, across 59 classifications. A few examples:
