This page lists the pay rates in the John Holland enterprise agreement (AE531886). The agreement was approved by the Fair Work Commission and sets the minimum pay for the staff it covers. The rates below are the agreement minimums; overtime, penalties and allowances can lift what you actually take home.
Covers John Holland NSW rail track civil works and track machine operations. Eighteen classifications across Attachment A (Track Civil RTCW-Entry through RTCW-9) and Attachment B (Track Machine Operators RTMO-1 through RTMO-5 + Team Leader variants). Rates shown from Agreement Commencement (6 February 2026) - next 4% increase takes effect 1 January 2027. Attachments C/D for Overhead Wiring and Rail Plant Trades are not yet covered.

Full-time pay runs from $1,383.20 per week ($36.40 per hour) at the entry level up to $2,462.40 per week at the top, across 18 classifications. A few examples:
