Rio Tinto Iron Ore Pilbara Rail Network Agreement 2024 covers Car Examiners and Locomotive Drivers at Rio Tinto's Pilbara WA rail operations (Pilbara Iron Company (Services) Pty Limited). NEW SECTOR - Mining/Rail. 5 classifications: Car Examiner 1 (0-2yr) $79K, Car Examiner 2 (2yr+) $85K, NLD 1 (yard only) $99K, NLD 2 (<2yr freight/heavy haul) $102.3K, NLD Seasoned $110K (1 March 2024 minimum). 40-hr week (salary inclusive of 2hrs at 1.5x). Casual loading 25%. Site Allowance 30% of base salary (Dampier/Karratha/Wickham, max $29K) or 35% (Tom Price/Paraburdoo/Pannawonica, max $32.5K).
