Who this agreement covers

Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink. Covers train drivers, station staff, signallers, customer service, maintenance, and operations across the Sydney metropolitan and NSW regional rail networks. RC (Railway Classification) grades 1-6. Rates from 1 July 2025.

Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $1,183.58 per week ($31.15 per hour) at the entry level up to $3,104.04 per week at the top, across 12 classifications. A few examples:
