Who this agreement covers

Tasmanian Ports Corporation (T/A Tasports) Marine Pilots Enterprise Agreement 2024. Covers all Marine Pilots employed by Tasmanian Ports Corporation Pty Ltd whose employment would, but for this Agreement, be regulated by the Port Authorities Award 2020. Whole-of-state pilotage across Hobart (Zones A/B/C - D'entrecasteaux Channel), Bell Bay (Zones D/E), Devonport, Burnie, Grassy, Port Latta, Lady Barron, Freycinet, Naracoopa, Port Arthur, Stanley and Strahan. Four progression-based classifications: Trainee Pilot (MP3), Marine Pilot (MP2), Senior Marine Pilot (MP1), Chief Pilot.

Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $5,094.72 per week ($134.07 per hour) at the entry level up to $6,326.25 per week at the top, across 4 classifications. A few examples:
