University of Melbourne Graduate Student Association (GSA) - a small student-union employer, NTEU-covered general/professional staff on classification Levels 1-6 (with A/B sub-levels). Salaries are the 1 January 2026 (+4%) column of Schedule A (operative from the 23 Jul 2026 commencement); further 4% increases 1 Jan 2027 and 1 Jan 2028. Ordinary hours average 36.25/week.

Minimum pay rates

Full-time pay runs from $1,349.61 per week ($37.23 per hour) at the entry level up to $2,288.68 per week at the top, across 12 classifications. A few examples:
